The essentials, in plain words: what KumoMail does with your data and what it doesn't, your subscription, your invoices, security. The full texts are linked under the sections.
What KumoMail does with your data
- It only reads your inbox to sort it: no archive, no junk, no trash.
- AI sorting only starts with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings › Privacy.
- To sort an email, the AI only receives its sender, its subject and a short excerpt.
- You download all your data in Settings › Account: a readable document and the same content as JSON.
- Deleting your account erases your data from KumoMail's database; only the date of your free trial is kept, so it is offered just once.
What KumoMail doesn't do
- It never deletes or moves an email: it only asks for permission to read and to send.
- It never sends a reply without you: you review it, then you click Send.
- No audience measurement tool, no advertising tracker.
- In a team, nobody else sees your emails, not even the plan owner.
Automatic renewal
- A subscription renews automatically, every month or every year depending on the option you chose.
- The date of the next payment is shown in Settings › Account.
- You can stop it whenever you like in Settings › Account, with “Cancel my subscription”.
Cancellation
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep access until then.
- Before you confirm, a summary shows you the subscription and its end date.
- Deleting your account also stops the subscription, right away, with no refund for the current period.
Invoices
- Your payments are listed in Settings › Account, “Purchase history”.
- Each subscription invoice opens on our payment provider's page.
Security
- The site enforces an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Your sign-in is kept in a cookie that the page's scripts cannot read.
- Every request is checked on the server: an account can only access its own data.
- Remote images in emails are blocked by default; you show them with one click.
- Found a security flaw? Our contact is in the security.txt file.
